This train terminates at Cockfosters

I finally arrived in the United Kingdom, but at the expense of my little body!

Before leaving America I started to feel a little ill, and it continued to get worse on the way to the airport, on the plane ride and during the tube ride ( the tube is what trains are called in the UK). I had the chills and lower back aches, and I'm
still not sure where it came from, but I'm surviving through it.

One thing I quickly noticed is that there are not a lot of lifts/elevators in London so after getting my Oyster Card (tube pass) the person who picked me up began our journey towards our final destination, Oval tube station. The whole trip maybe took an hour, but it felt a lot longer with my current condition.

We arrived at the place I was staying at, it's a Hostel, with no lift and on the way to our room I met one of my roommates who arrived a day earlier. So up four flights of stairs with the suitcases, which I felt that I was going to die afterwards luckily we had our orientation in our room.

After the orientation I pretty much slept the rest of the day hoping that the pain would go away, it did but then again it didn't. It actually got worse during the night also not to mention that I had the chills and shivers with no actual duvet. I had the covering but not the duvet itself.

Needless to say it was a terrible night, so terrible that I called the director in the morning to have her take me to the hospital.

Cheers to my first night.
